Sketching Collection 2023/2024
Beginning
As you can see below there was no sense of technique, as seen by the inconsistent line work and scratchy drawings. However, these images are crucial to the development of techniques. Along with this, the first attempt at properly colouring and use of fine liner was made and unlike drawings further on, it doesn’t seem to enhance the drawing, as its rather messy.

Perspective and guidelines
Perspective and guidelines are foundations to good product design sketches, and this selection below is it in practice. These give a sense of reality for a product, especially within the conceptualisation process
Layout and line quality
Layout is another important factor when communicating ideas properly. Proportions, angles and positioning tell a lot about a product and layout can help communicate those ideas
Line quality is crucial for the clarity of the sketch, which is achieved through proper posture and speed. Line quality can be greatly improved by the use of fine liners.
Stem Kit Project
The most recent project is a combination and showcase of the techniques that have been developed over the course of the 1st semester. The line quality has improved, along with use of layout and colour, which brings life to the project itself
